Climate Crisis — Gallery

Miniprint Kazanak 2019 presented, in Kazanlak, Bulgaria, 420 works from 144 artists from 40 countries, selected by an international jury composed of Mikio Watanabe (France), Yoshiaki Murakami (Japan), and Peter Boyadjieff (Bulgaria). In each of two categories (Classical Printmaking; Digital & Experimental Printmaking), they awarded one first prize, and three honorary mentions; my digital print Global Warning 4 won one of the honorary mentions.

These two events are the two largest printmaking events in Portugal, and among the largest in the world. Occurring every two years on alternating years, curated by Nuno Canelas, the first exhibits about 500 pieces by 500 artists from 62 countries in 10 exhibitions, while the second, in 2018, had 1400 prints by 704 artists from 70 countries, in 14 exhibitions. Participation is by invitation.
